Here you find the venerable 1X1, the frame whose name is synonymous with single-speeds the same way people call facial tissue Kleenex. The Surly 1X1 frameset was designed for 26″ wheels, big tires, and single gear and cog drivetrains, like freewheeled single-speeds, fixed gear, and even internal geared hubs. No derailleur hanger, no housing stops or line guides for derailleurs. The 1X1 is simple, durable and beautiful.
- 100% 4130 chromoly steel frame and fork, double-butted main triangle; investment cast Surly track dropouts (no derailleur hanger).
- 100mm suspension-corrected rigid fork.
- Dual water bottle mounts and fender eyelets.
- 26 x 2.7″ maximum tire clearance.
- Disc Brake only (only framesets in Cash Black).

The 1x1 framesets are available in three colors including Stash Green, Pepto Pink, and Cash Black. And the specifications of each color is a little different from the others.
